Homo habilis is known as the ‘handy man’ because he was the first to make and use tools. The earliest tools made were from this era. The skull and brain size indicate that he may have been able to speak. Homo habilis– He had a face similar to his ancestors. The first man in the genus was Homo habilis. After the Australopithecus genus came the Homo genus. They also weighed more than their ancestors. Australopithecus robustus– He was taller than his predecessors but still ape-like.Also, they had large teeth compared to current day humans and were herbivorous. They were bipedal and had a small skull with small brains than Homo erectus but larger than their predecessors. Australopithecus africanus– These also inhabited the African mainland. The bowed legs, fingers, and toes enabled them to climb trees and live there. They were able to walk on two legs but the legs were slightly bowed which made their walk slightly ape-like. And they were shorter than the Australopithecus ramidus and had a small skull with flat noses and no chin. They are said to have inhabited the African mainland. Australopithecus afarensis– ‘Lucy’ the famous fossil belonged to this species. The forelimbs were different from those of the earlier ape-like ancestors. Australopithecus ramidus: Was 1.2 meters tall and the fossils show the foramen magnum that was large to indicate upright walking. After Dryopethicus and Ramapethicus came to the genus Australopethicus which preceded the genus Homo. Stages of evolution of humans began from him. Dryopethicus inhabited the European region and some parts of Asia and Africa. At the same time as his existence, Ramapethicus existed who was more human-like than Dryopethicus. He was the earliest known ancestor of man. Read the Evidence of Evolution here in detail. Theories of Origin and Evolution of Life.Dryopethicus was the first in the evolution of man in the stages of evolution and some believe him to be the common ancestor of man and apes. It was in the Miocene age that the family Hominidae split from the Pongidae(apes) family. The family to which human beings belong is called Hominidae. Among the mammals, humans are most closely related to primates such as the orangutan The vertebrates began evolving that led to the development of mammals. From simple life forms that were unicellular to the development of multicellular organisms gave rise to the vertebrates. Will the Monsters break through and destroy everything? Or will the colonists get away in time?ģ.The genus of the human being today is called Homo and the man today is called as Homo sapiens.

As a Monster, you’re leading hordes of Goliath minions as you attack the Evacuation point in waves. If you’re playing from the Hunter perspective, you’re desperately defending the Evacuation point while the ship is fueling up to escape. Whoever saves – or kills – the majority of the colonists, wins. Monsters need to munch on as many of these colonists as possible and keep them from getting away. Hunters need to locate, revive and protect them as they make their escape. – Rescue: Injured colonists trying to escape the Monsters are placed randomly on the map.

Hunters win by destroying all the eggs and the minion, or killing the Monster. If the Monster is able to get to the eggs, it has the option to hatch one of them into a minion – a stage 1 Goliath that runs around, aggro-ing Hunters. – Nest: Nest mode has the Monster player protecting its brood, randomly scattered all over the map, while the Hunters are out to scramble some alien eggs. All along, the Hunters and Monster play cat-and-mouse, hoping to kill for a quick victory. – Hunt: It’s a race for the Monster to eat enough within the environment to evolve to stage 3, and find the power relay on the map to destroy the objective. Here’s the official description of each mode straight from the game’s official website: Upon release, Evolve will come with four separate game modes.
